SCARBOROUGH (AP) -About 500 mourners filled a Scarborough church for a funeral Mass for three members of an Old Orchard Beach family who were stabbed to death in their home last week.
Family, friends and the entire freshman class from Old Orchard Beach High School attended services for Carol and Christopher Bolduc and their 15-year-old son, Joshua Bolduc, who had attended the school. The funeral was held Thursday at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church.
Carol Bolduc’s son, 21-year-old Matthew Cushing, has been charged with three counts of murder and one count of arson. Police say Cushing admitted to fatally stabbing his mother, stepfather and half brother and then setting fire to the house. He is being held at the York County Jail without bail.
