AUBURN – Andrew R. Watson, Sr., 52, went to be with our Lord, March 1. The devoted father and loving husband fought a courageous and valiant battle with brain cancer.

He was born in Maryland on Jan. 8, 1956. He was educated and graduated from high school in Maryland. He joined the Navy and was stationed in Bath at the end of his service. He then made Maine his home.

He leaves behind two wonderful sons, Andrew “AJ” Watson, Jr., and Christopher Watson, and his wife, Laura.

He leaves behind a brother, Ray Watson of Virginia; and two nephews, Charlie and Shawn. Another significant person in his life was mother Exum.

He was predeceased by his brother Robert “Bob” Watson.

Andy kept a positive attitude despite the severity of his diagnosis, praising every new day God granted him. He was an inspiration to all who knew him.
