TURNER – SAD 52 River Valley Adult and Community Education is offering a variety of online courses. All courses run for six weeks. They are project-orientated and include lessons, quizzes, hands-on assignments, discussion areas and supplementary links.

New course sessions begin on the third Wednesday of each month and all require Internet access, e-mail and Netscape Navigator of Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Classes include computer applications, digital photography and video, test prep and Web page design.

River Valley Adult and Community Education will also conduct a six-week dog obedience class starting Wednesday, March 19.

Correction of behavioral problems will be offered. Rabies shots must be current. Leashes and collars need to be approved by the trainer or may be purchased from the instructor.

One of the many classes offered this session will be “Introduction to Microsoft Excel.” Participants will learn to use the spread sheet system for Windows in the four-week class starting Monday, March 24. For information or to register, call the Adult Ed office at 225-3478.

A baby-sitter training class will begin Tuesday, March 25, for ages 11 to 15.
