DIXFIELD – Dixfield photographer Christal Treadwell received the “Best of Show” award and “Court of Honor” for her fine art print, “A Bridge to Work,” at the Maine Professional Photographers Association Convention and Print Exhibition in Freeport in January.

Treadwell’s print also tied for highest print score and highest scoring case with more than 180 prints entered and more than 85 cases. Judging is done by a panel comprised of professional photographers from different states who have achieved the master photographer’s designation.

Treadwell has been a MPPA member since 2005 and has received numerous ribbons. This is her second “Best of Show” win in three years.
