WELD – Former Selectman Laurie Pratt was elected to a three-year position in a 79-27 win over Randy Vining on Friday.

SAD 9 Director Neil Stinneford, who did not seek re-election, received 21 write-in votes, Town Clerk Carol Cochran said. No one had taken out papers for the position.

He wants to think about it, Cochran said.

“He’ll let us know tomorrow if he accepts,” she said.

Ted Simanek was re-elected to the Planning Board with 102 votes. He was unopposed.

Cochran who was uncontested for her bid as town clerk and tax collector, received 102 votes and 105 votes, respectively.

“We had 109 who voted,” she said.
