“Smashed,” a film calling attention to underage drinking premiered by the Lewiston Youth Advisory Council last October, will be shown Wednesday, March 12, at the Lewiston Public Library. The free 7 p.m. showing in Callahan Hall was rescheduled from February due to inclement weather. The 25-minute film recently received state approval for use in driver’s-education courses. After the viewing, a panel of youth council members will be on hand to respond to questions. In a scene from “Smashed,” Holly Lavorgna, left, Sarah Radovich, Sara Fabrizio and Veronica Irish portray teens at a drunk-driving crash scene waiting to find out if their friends are OK.
