Lewiston – A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday morning at The Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul for Rose Metivier. Fr. Robert Larivierre officiated. At the conclusion of the Mass, a eulogy and words of remembrance were given by her granddaughter Amy Landry. Following the Mass, committal prayers were recited by Fr. Paul Pare at Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Augusta where entombment followed. Pallbearers were Ryan Charest, Robert Reny, Lennie Childress, Clayton Matthews, Richard Breau and Richard Dumont. Arrangements were under the direction of The Fortin Group Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Lewiston.
