JAY – Nomination papers are available for elected town and school officials in Jay, Livermore and Livermore Falls. Papers are due back in late April, and elections will be held in June.

In Jay, the terms of Rick Simoneau and Bill Harlow are up. They are for three years each. Papers are due back on April 25, Town Clerk Ronda Palmer said. Two School Committee seats held by Chairwoman Mary Redmond-Luce and Marga Hutchinson will also be decided, Palmer said. Those terms are also for three years.

Also up for election are two water district trustees for three years. One is for the Jay Village Water District seat held by Gregory Libby and the other is for the North Jay Water District seat held by Mark Nadeau.

In Livermore Falls, two selectmen’s seats, a town clerk/treasurer position and three SAD 36 directors seats are up for election. Those nomination papers are due April 28.

A two-year selectman’s seat held by Chairwoman Jackie Knight and the three-year seat of Melanie Rounds are up for election, Town Clerk Kristal Flagg said. Papers are also available for town clerk/treasurer, a two-year position held by Kristal Flagg.

Three SAD 36 directors seats are also available. They are held by Warren Bryant, Elaine LaPointe, and Denise Rodzen and are for three years.

Over in Livermore, two selectpersons, town clerk and treasurer, and two SAD 36 directors seats are up for election. Papers are due back April 28.

On the ballot will be a three-year selectperson seat, which is held by John Wakefield, and a two-year seat, which is held by Brenda Merrill. The school directors seats held by by Ashley O’Brien and Rodney Newman are up for election.
