BETHEL – Bethel Historical Society President Allen Cressy has called a special meeting of the society for 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at the O’Neil Robinson House, 10 Broad St.

Members will vote on proposed amendments and changes in the society’s bylaws.

The proposed changes include adding up to six more trustees to the board, plus the creation of a Development Committee to be considered at the meeting.

There will also be a report on the society’s plans for the immediate future.

All members of the society are invited.
