Kristen and Ashley Uhuad, daughters of Gene and Cheryl Uhuad of Jay, have been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at the University of New England.

A 2005 graduate of Jay High School, Kristen is a major in medical biology. She is also involved in mentoring and is doing an internship off campus.

Ashley is also a 2005 graduate of Jay High School and is also a major in medical biology. She is a campus tour guide, organic chemistry teacher’s assistant and is doing research in a biomedical research laboratory. She is also doing a dental internship off campus. She was recently inducted into the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society.

Dean’s list students have attained a grade point average of 3.30 or better out of a possible 4.0 at the end of the semester.
