SOUTH PARIS – Brian and Christine Blake of Bethel are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Blake of South Paris, to Peter (PJ) Bedard of South Paris, son of Priscilla Bedard of Norway and Peter and Marilyn Bedard of North Norway.

Miss Blake is a 2003 graduate of Telstar High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono, where she received a bachelor’s degree in anthropology. She is currently working with her future husband at Bedard Excavation.

Mr. Bedard is a 1998 graduate of Mountain Valley High School and owns and operates Bedard Excavation.

An Aug. 16 wedding is planned.
