Revival services
NORWAY – A revival will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, March 26 to 29, at the Norway Church of the Nazarene, 14 Grove St. A service will also be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, March 30.

Dementia meeting
BETHEL – “Understanding Dementia: A Workshop for Families and Friends,” Part 2, was postponed from Wednesday, March 19, to Wednesday, March 26, and will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the West Parish Congregational Church, Church Street. For more information, call 824-2053.
Sunday sermon
NORWAY – “Reasoning Fools” is the title of the sermon on Sunday, March 30, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Norway. The Rev. Richard Beal will be in the pulpit. Women are requested to wear their craziest and most colorful hats to church for the service as parishioners see if Unitarian Universalists can be intentionally foolish. Service starts at 11 a.m. and child care is provided.
Screening day
OXFORD – Oxford Elementary School kindergarten screening day will be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 15, by appointment only. Students must be 5 years old by Oct. 15. Parents or guardians must provide a copy of immunization records and a birth certificate. Call the school at 539-4456 to find out about registering and making an appointment.
Bouchard to speak
PARIS – The worship service on Sunday, March 30, at the First Universalist Church, Pine Street, will be conducted by Sharon Bouchard. Title of Bouchard’s 10 a.m. sermon will be “Hope Springs Eternal.”
The music is under the direction of Forest Perkins and the Sunday school is under the direction of Renee Wales. Child care will be available. Coffee and fellowship will follow the service and all are invited.
Society to meet
OXFORD – The Oxford Historical Society will hold an informational meeting at 7 p.m. Friday March 28, at the Kay House Museum, Pleasant Street. Refreshments will follow.
Firs available
PARIS – The Oxford County Soil and Water Conservation District is extending the sale for fir trees only until April 16. Available are Frasier Fir, Colorado Blue Spruce, Norway Spruce, American Arborvitae, White Pine and White Spruce. If interested, contact Heather at 743-5789, ext. 109.
Church service
PARIS – Trinity Lutheran Church, 34 Buckfield Road, South Paris, will observe the second Sunday of Easter/Holy Humor Sunday on March 30.
Sunday school for children and Making the Old Story Our Story for adults will begin at 9 a.m. with a worship service at 10:15, followed by coffee, refreshments and fellowship.
The second in a series of dream workshops will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 3. It is titled “Putting on Joseph’s Dreamcoat.”
Yoga is held at 11:30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the church.
Bridge winners
NORWAY – Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met March 21 the Fare Share Commons, Main Street, when a three-table Howell movement was played. Finishing first in Flight A were Hazel Glazier and Marta Clements; second, Les Buzzell and Marjorie Street; first in Flight B, Cindy and Bob Kirchherr; second, Arlen Riis and Bob Clifford.
