RANGELEY – A request to create 10 rental boat slips on Rangeley Lake will be reviewed by the Planning Board Wednesday.
A public hearing for a request by Gerald and Deborah White, doing business as River’s Edge Sports, will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the town office conference room.
Located in Oquossoc Cove on Rangeley Lake, River’s Edge rents canoes and kayaks, said Gerald White on Monday.
A conditional use permit or site review is needed for any new business, said Code Enforcement Officer Robert Griscom. The site will contain just boat slips with no gasoline available, he said.
After the hearing, the board will review an eight-lot subdivision, Field Stream Woods, being proposed on Route 4 by James Milligan.
An amendment for an already approved subdivision, Oquossoc Cove Village, will also be discussed, he said. The subdivision consists of six townhouses.
