Tuesday’s answer: Actor Ken Berry of “F Troop” and “Mama’s Family” was encouraged into showbiz in the 1950s by his army sergeant. That was Leonard Nimoy, who would portray the iconic Mr. Spock on the “Star Trek” series and subsequent film sequels. (Thanks to Merl Reagle of Tampa, Fla.)
