RUMFORD – The Hannaford Supermarket and pharmacy, Waldo Street, received Hannaford’s Community Service Award at its annual meeting in February in South Portland.

Hannaford associates participating in community service include Ann Broughton, Priscilla Bennet, Missy Ellis, Barbara Laramee, Kathy Robbins, Diane O’Leary, Wilma Bean, Sheri Jeselskis, Rebecca Slocum, Penny Lemay, Celeste Wilson, Donna Cunningham, Sue Arsenault, Ken Hinkley Mary Rinaldo, Linda Worcester, Duane Bryant and Dave Duguay.

Some of the organizations benefiting from these volunteers include Sons of Italy, East Sumner Congregational Church, Jesse’s Gym, F.O.E 1248 Auxiliary, town of Mexico, American Legion Auxiliary, Oxford County, St. Theresa Parish Council, River Valley Growth Council, Big Brothers Big Sisters, local Boosters, F.O.E. Eagles Auxiliary 1248, A.W.S. after school ski program, Relay for Life, food pantry, GRCC, town of Byron, United Way, Rumford Area Rotary Club, and River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition.
