Grange program
JAY – North Jay Grange 10 invites the public to a day program Saturday, April 5, at the grange hall.
A potluck dinner will be held at noon followed by a program at 1 p.m. featuring a speaker and local musical entertainment.
The band, Narrow Gauge String Band, will also perform. Admission is free and all are welcome. There will also be a door prize and drawing.
Bottle drive
JAY – A bottle drive will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 5, to benefit the Jay High School Class of 2008.
Club to meet
NEW VINEYARD – The New Vineyard North Snowmobile Club will meet at Smith Hall at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, April 6. Members are asked to bring something to share for a potluck meal and their worksheets. The landowners’ appreciation supper will be discussed.
The public is welcome.
Fellowship lunch
STARKS – The United in Christ Presbyterian Church, Starks and West Mills, will sponsor a fellowship lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Monday, beginning April 7, at the Memorial Hall, Locke Hill Road. The lunch will include a soup and sandwich/entree and is free. All are welcome.
Extension meeting
CHESTERVILLE – The North Chesterville Extension Homemakers will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, at the Chesterville Town Office. Members are asked to bring a donation for the Franklin County Animal Shelter.
Members will discuss finalizing plans for the Franklin County Extension Homemakers spring meeting and begin planning the annual rummage/bake sale. All meetings are free and open to the public.
