To help job seekers prepare for the spring job fairs, the CareerCenter will host a “How to Prepare for a Job Fair and Resume Basics” workshop on April 17 from 3-5 p.m., and April 18 from 10 a.m.-noon. A job fair is a great way to meet with several employers in one place and to meet recruiters face to face. If you have not attended a job fair or if you have and found it difficult to manage this workshop is for you. There are some definite do’s and don’ts.

Other workshops offered at the CareerCenter include: Job Search Skills; Career Decision Making; On-Line Applications, Interviewing Skills; and Writing a Resume.

All events are free of charge and are held at the CareerCenter, 5 Mollison Way.
