WATERVILLE – Justin Simon scored a pair of goals and Will Paddock took a shutout into the fourth quarter to lead Bates to a 9-2 men’s lacrosse victory over Colby.

The Bobcats (3-6) scored three times in the first 10:24 of the second quarter to take a 4-0 lead by halftime. Les Wade, Mike Medeiros and Craig Blake chipped in with a goal and an assist.

LEWISTON – Colby scored three goals in the final nine minutes to rally for a 12-11 lacrosse victory over Bates.

Lauren Strazzula scored the game winner with 1:52 to play.

Caroline Thomas scored four goals and added an assist for the Bobcats (3-5), while Amy Campbell and Heather Nickerson added two goals each.
