PLAISTOW, N.H. (AP) – New Hampshire’s fire marshal said Sunday that someone intentionally set the fire that destroyed a nine-story business office complex in Plaistow that was under construction.

William Degnan, said the fire at 27 Westville Road was determined to be “incendiary” and is asking for the public’s help in finding out more information.

Investigators also are looking for photos or video of the fire before the fire department responded to the fire early Saturday. The fire was reported just before 2 a.m.

No one had moved into the building, which the owner says was under construction and was 70 percent complete.

The fire went to three alarms and crews from several surrounding towns helped fight the flames.

No one was injured, but several businesses were destroyed. A dispatcher for the Plaistow Fire Department said a dozen or so businesses were set to move into the park shortly.

The fire marshal’s office is working with the Plaistow Police Department.
