LEWISTON – A Rangeley man was taken to Central Maine Medical Center here after a snowmobile crash Sunday morning in Davis Township.
Maine Game Warden Reggie Hammond said the accident occurred about 11:45 a.m. northeast of Kennebago Lake.
Hammond said Pete Perry was traveling on an unplowed road when his snow machine hit a ditch, leading the machine to make a substantial drop.
Hammond said that the area received 7-8 inches of fresh snow Friday night and that Perry had no way of knowing the ditch was there. He said Perry was taken by ambulance to Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington with back and possible internal injuries, but had no further update on his condition as of Sunday night.
