Between Wednesday, April 2, at 7 a.m. and Monday, April 7, at 7 a.m. this department responded to 559 calls for service. Of those calls, 176 of them were motor vehicle stops.

Criminal Mischief

Some time between 6:30 and 9:27 p.m. on April 2, a window of a vehicle parked at 29 Tampa St. was smashed out.

The Hall and Knight building on West Bates Street was tagged with graffiti on April 4 at 12:30 a.m.

A window to an entry door to 92 Shawmut St. was smashed out by a rock overnight April 3-4.

Two vehicles parked at 119 Pierce St. had windows smashed out by a shovel overnight April 3-4.

A limo which was parked at Sarah Jeannes at 77 Sabattus St. was vandalized overnight April 3-4.

A vehicle parked at 48 Bradley St. was spray painted overnight April 3-4.

A vehicle parked at 57 College St. had a window smashed out on April 5 at 12:20 a.m.

A vehicle parked at 199 Russell St. was damaged sometime between April 1-5.

A vehicle parked at 85 Lafayette St. had windows smashed out overnight April 5-6.

Motor Vehicle Burglary

A vehicle parked at Lewiston High School on April 3 at 2 p.m. had speakers and an amplifier stolen from the trunk.

Burglary

An apartment at 148 Pierce St. was burglarized sometime between April 1-3, DVDs and other property were taken.

Theft

A wallet was stolen from a patron of the Health Club and Spa at 1977 Lisbon St. between 10 and 11 p.m. on April 3. The wallet was later located on a Hudson bus.

Robberies

Officers responded to 85 Androscoggin Ave. on April at 9:40 p.m. after the resident reported that he had been robbed of three pit bull puppies. The suspects were described as: 1) white female, short and heavy with dark hair; 2) black male, 5’8, short hair, very dark skin, many tattoos including one with a flag with an “x” through it on his neck; 3) black male, 6’4 with dreadlocks, many cavities, and a gray doo rag; 4) black male, 6’4, lighter skin, black jacket. The suspects were in a black Ford Expedition with New Hampshire plates.

A pedestrian reports he was robbed while walking in the area of Bartlett Street and Willow Circle on April 4 prior to 11 p.m. He describes his assailants as four white males in their early 20s or late teens. All were approximately 5’10 wearing dark, baggy pants and dark colored shirts. One of them had on a red shirt with shoulder length hair. The suspects forcibly took his wallet and removed the cash before fleeing the scene on foot. The victim received a minor stab wound during the altercation.

Arson

Police and fire units responded to 79 Strawberry Ave. on April 5 at 10:57 p.m. for a reported fire. Upon arrival, they discovered a dumpster on fire which appeared to have been intentionally set.

Operating Under the Influence Arrests

Christopher White, 22, was charged with operating under the influence, operating after suspension and possession of a suspended license on April 4 at 12:37 a.m. at Frye and College streets following a routine traffic stop.

Operating After Suspension Arrests

Leo Copp, 20, was charged with operating after suspension, carrying a concealed weapon and failing to produce evidence of insurance on April 5 at 5:55 p.m. at 300 Main St. following a routine traffic stop.

Becky Hilligoss, 29, was charged with operating after suspension, operating with a suspended registration and failure to register vehicle on April 4 at Sabattus and Orange streets following a routine traffic stop.

Joel Nascimento, 30, was charged with operating while license suspended on April 2 at 6:33 a.m. at Lisbon and Westminster streets following a routine traffic stop.

Judilyne Larose, 37, was charged with operating after suspension on March 28 at 1:08 a.m. at 34 College St. following a routine traffic stop.

Paul Fitzherbert, 31, was charged with operating while license suspended and violating conditions of release on April 3 at 10:11 p.m. at the Great Falls Plaza following a routine traffic stop.
