CARTHAGE – The Carthage Historical Society will meet on Tuesday, April 15, starting with a potluck supper at 5:30 p.m. Local historian, Robert Keith, will tell of his research on the early trails and roads of the Carthage area.
Talk on bees
PARIS – The Western Maine Beekeepers Association will present a slide show and talk by State Apiarist Tony Jadczak on honey bee pests, diseases and medications. The presentation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, at the First Baptist Church on Paris Hill.
Beekeepers need to be aware of current treatment methods and medications to ensure the survival of their honey bees. All area beekeepers are invited to the free presentation. For more information, contact Carol Cottrill at 364-0917 or [email protected]
Legion supper
LIVERMORE FALLS – The American Legion, 17 Reynolds Ave., will have a public baked bean and casserole supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 19. Members will deliver within a five-mile radius.
Cemetery meeting
CHESTERVILLE – The Webster Cemetery Association will hold its annual meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, April 21, at the Chesterville Town Hall.
