Office closure

CARTHAGE – The Carthage Town Office will be closed the week of April 21.

Program, meeting

RUMFORD – The Oxford County Education Association-Retired will meet on Friday, April 18, at the Rumford United Methodist Church on Linnell Street. After the social period, business meeting, and lunch, Duane Leavitt will present a program on minerals.

The fundraiser will be a cookie walk.

Ski club to meet

RUMFORD – The Chisholm Ski Club will hold its annual meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, in conference room of the Linnell Motel. Dues may be paid at that time. For more information, call Marie Boudreau at 364-8883.

Class lunch

RUMFORD – Stephens High School Class of 1954 will meet for luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, at the Route 2 Diner in Rumford Center. Classmates and guests are welcome.
