NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (AP) – A New Bedford woman who was doused with rubbing alcohol and set on fire in her own apartment last December has recovered enough to identify her alleged attackers.

Police say Bonnie Germano was arrested earlier this week, and arrest warrants have also been issued for her boyfriend and the victim’s former boyfriend.

A dangerousness hearing scheduled for Thursday was postponed until next week because Germano’s lawyer was unavailable.

Police say the victim suffered severe burns over her entire body in the attack and spent more than three months in the hospital. Her condition prevented investigators from interviewing her until mid-March.

Police allege Germano threw a lit packet of matches on the victim after dousing her with alcohol.
