Peru Extensionists raffling spring basket

PERU – The Peru group of the Oxford County Homemaker’s Extension is raising money for local charitable contributions. The current project is the raffle of a spring basket.

The large, laundry-sized basket is full of homemade items, including a quilt, jams/jellies, potholders, gardening tools and attire, seeds and bulbs, pots/potting soils, lawn decorations and $20 gift certificates.

The basket is on display at Mrs. B’s Store, Main Street, until the drawing at 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 16. Raffle tickets are 50 cents each or three for $1. The tickets are available at Mrs. B’s Store or from any Peru Extension member.
