AUBURN – Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, at the Alden M. Gayton Post 31, American Legion, 426 Washington St. There will be the usual raffle table and after a bag lunch, bingo will be played.

President Virginia Houston presided on April 9 when 59 members were present. June McGinley was welcomed as a new member. Trip chairwoman Evelyn Sawin reported the 54-passenger bus is filled for a trip to Foster’s Lobster House, York, on June 13.

The raffle table followed the regular meeting, with attendance prize winners Bea Everett and Thelma Greenleaf; pot of gold, Dodi Juneau, Merry Strout and Guy Donohue. After the meeting and a bag lunch, bingo was played.

All senior citizens are welcome at meetings, and can join at age 55 and up. The club has members from Auburn, Buckfield, Lewiston, Sabattus, Turner, Poland and Mechanic Falls and meets at the Alden M. Gayton Post at 11 a.m. the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. Bingo is played and there are other activities throughout the year.

Bridge results

LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on April 15 were: first, Nancy Lindgren and Paul Sherman; second, Patricia Garcia and David Lock; third, Martine Begert and Jeanine Kivus.

Winners at Schooner Estates in Auburn on April 16 were: first, Martine Begert and Patricia Garcia; second, Anna Vitiello and Larry Fortier; third, Lucille Bilodeau and Alberta Turner.

Games are played at 9 a.m. Mondays and Tuesdays and 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays and a partner is guaranteed. Call Rosemarie Goodwin at 754-1431 for information about all duplicate bridge games. No game will be played at on Monday, April 21, Patriots Day.
