This is in response to the front-page photo and story April 16 about a college art project involving U.S. flags.
What a disgrace to see pictures of the American flag on the floor, plus someone standing on a flag.
The leaders of the University of Maine at Farmington ought to feel some out of place.
I saw many U.S. soldiers die representing that flag while in Korea. I was a front-line medic there in 1950-51.
Standing on a flag… what a disgrace.
