MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -Justin Morneau made the most of his second chance.

After striking out with a runner on second in the eighth inning, Morneau singled home Brendan Harris in the 10th, lifting the Minnesota Twins to a 2-1 victory over the Cleveland Indians on Sunday.

Morneau is hitting a pedestrian .269 this season, but he is 9-for-15 (.600) with 12 RBIs with runners in scoring position.

Rafael Perez (0-1) took the loss in relief of an impressive start from Paul Byrd, and the defending AL Central champions have lost 12 of their last 16 after a 2-0 start.
