AUBURN – Capt. Frank W. Hulett Post 1603, Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S., has announced that it has launched Sea Scout Ship 1603.

Sea Scouts is a co-educational program offered to youth ages 14 to 21. Meetings will be held one night a week during the winter and on the open waters during the summer.

To join, a youth must be age 14, have graduated from the eighth grade or be 15 regardless of grade.

Any youth in the area is invited to join if interested in learning to sail, operate a powerboat, steer a boat, go scuba diving or raft a white water river.
