STRONG – Franklin County deputies are investigating two home burglaries over two days in the same area of town.

Deputy Heidi Gould said she responded Wednesday to a report of a forced entry into a home on Streeter Road, which is off South Strong Road.

There was a lot of criminal mischief and some tools, food and liquor were taken, Gould said.

The break-in happened between Tuesday evening and early Wednesday evening, she said.

There was also a burglary reported on Tuesday on the adjacent Frederick Road off Strong Road.

In that case, the door was unlocked, Deputy Sandy Burke said. She did not say what was taken because the investigation is ongoing.
