KEENE, N.H. – Senior Melissa Scata went 4-for-6 with four RBIs and a run scored to lead Keene State to an LEC softball doubleheader sweep, 3-2 and 7-4, of the University of Southern Maine Saturday afternoon.

Junior outfielder Meghan Ford of Mechanic Falls and Sabrina Mills each drove in runs for the Huskies (16-19) in the sixth inning of the nightcap, but it was the final runs for Southern Maine in the 7-4 final.

St. Joe’s 3, Emerson 0

NEWTON, Mass. – Sophomore Christy Wezowicz tossed a two-hit complete game shutout as St. Joseph’s stayed alive in the GNAC tournament with a 3-0 triumph over Emerson College on Saturday.

Sophomore Lidday van der Linden went 3-for-3 with an RBI double in the Monk’s two-run first inning.
