DeMolay chapter installs year’s officers

AUBURN – The Knights of the Sun Chapter, Order of DeMolay for Boys, recently held installation of officers at the Auburn Masonic Temple, 1021 Turner St. Installed as master councilor was Stephen Farrington of Readfield. Farrington is a past master councilor of the chapter and is serving his second term in that position.

Installed as officers for 2008 were: master councilor, Farrington; senior councilor, Samuel Goldsberry; junior councilor, Shaughn Little; chaplain, Andrew Cotterly; marshal, Jacob Gottleib; senior/junior steward, Daniel Ouellette; senior deacon, Jeremy Benway; junior deacon, Michael Kelley.

Serving as installing officer was State Master Councilor Benjamin Weisner; installing senior councilor, Dana W. Ryder; installing marshal, Jeremy Harmon; installing chaplain/junior councilor, Noah Bussiere; senior deacon, Greg Yum.

DeMolay is an organization dedicated to preparing young men age 12 to 21 to lead successful, happy and productive lives.
