LIVERMORE FALLS – Six heavy-duty display cases are available from Mary’s Candy Shop in Lewiston and the soon-to-open Paper and Heritage Museum needs display cases for its collections.
Donors are needed to purchase the six cases for $650 each, or a total of about $4,000. Roger Allen, candy shop owner, must be moved out by May 1. The museum’s opening day will be Friday, May 22, during History Night.
Trucks are available and muscle power has been volunteered in Lewiston and Livermore Falls.
Memorial and honor engraved plates will be attached to each case, indicating donor families, organizations and businesses. Donations of any amount qualify as a tax-deductible gift.
For additional information about the display cases project, contact a board member, Museum Treasurer Roland Poirier at the Otis Credit Union or Dennis Stires at 897-4222, 19 Crash Road, Livermore, ME 04253-3014, [email protected].
