FARMINGTON – Bag Ali handbags and accessories will be sold from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 28, and 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, in the Franklin Memorial Hospital lobby.
The spring collection includes new styles, leather and nonleather, stripes, prints, backpacks, briefcases, men’s and women’s wallets, evening bags, scarves and shawls, belt bags and totes. The fundraiser is sponsored by the Franklin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
Educator workshop
FARMINGTON – Maine Project Learning Tree will offer an educator and community leadership workshop from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, May 6 and 8, at the Mt. Blue Middle School. The workshop will include a tour of local forested areas with foresters and community leaders.

Legion food sale
BUCKFIELD – American Legion Auxiliary 58 will hold a food sale beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, May 2, at the Northeast Bank, Route 117. Proceeds will help to send two SAD 39 junior girls to Girls State.
Barbecue supper
OXFORD – A barbecue supper will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at Grace Fellowship Church, Poplar Avenue. The menu will include hamburgers, hot dogs, macaroni and cheese, salads, beverage and dessert. Musical entertainment will follow. Cost is $7 for adults, $3 children ages 6 to 12 and under 6. free. Church sets supper
PARIS – A spaghetti dinner will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at Deering Memorial Methodist Church. Menu will include spaghetti and homemade meatballs and homemade pies. Cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children under 12.
Benefit supper
EAST CONWAY, N.H. – A benefit supper will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at the East Conway Community Hall, Main Street. The menu will include baked beans, hot dogs, rolls, coleslaw, dessert and beverage. Cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children under 12. Proceeds will benefit Marcy Gilman, an eighth-grade student at Kennett Middle School, who has been accepted to the People to People Student Ambassador program.
