ORONO, Maine (AP) – The NFL draft is over, and nobody from the University of Maine team was selected.

But two UMaine players will still get a chance to show off their stuff for NFL teams after agreeing to free-agent deals Sunday night after the conclusion of the draft.

Tight end Matt Mulligan of Enfield was offered a two-year deal with the Miami Dolphins, while running back Anthony Cotrone of Valley Stream, N.Y., was offered a three-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Mulligan only started playing football in 2004 at Husson College before transferring to Maine.
