This recession is caused by high prices for everything. As soon as senior citizens get a raise in Social Security, rent rates go up, the price of food goes up and so does everything else. So, we do not have any more money than before the raise.
Nursing home care costs thousands of dollars per month just to lay in bed, not counting medications, therapies, etc. So those who think they have enough money for retirement will soon find themselves broke.
The cure is lowering prices on goods, services, medications, etc. This would help everyone to be able to buy stuff they need and pay back loans.
As prices keep soaring and greed and fraud take over, the economy slows. Soon nobody can afford anything.
Businesses go under, and so will people who depend on their stocks and bonds for survival in their old age.
