Rumford Lodge of Elks 862 recently presented a check for $300 to the Rumford school DARE program. From left are Drug Awareness Chairwoman Sandee Welch, DARE Officer Tracey Higley (also an Elks member), DARE Officer Doug Maifeld and Youth Activities Chairwoman Debi Briggs. Drug awareness is a focus of the Elks Grand Lodge and Maine Elks programs.
