WEST PARIS – Beverly M. Fecteau, of Lewiston, died on May 2, at Ledgeview Living Center.

She was born in Poland, on April 19, 1932, the daughter of Verne and Verna Mae Tame and was predeceased by her sister, Joyce Vlahakos.

She graduated from nursing school in 1952, serving the community for many years as an X-ray technician at Central Maine General (CMMC). She was an avid traveler, who enjoyed the outdoors, antiquing and especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl Thurston Andrews and her husband, Anthony, of Bethel, Shaun Fecteau of Lisbon and Blake and his wife, Louise, of Mechanic Falls; 16 grandchildren, Nicholas, Janelle, Talitha, Mary, Gabriel, Christine, Jacinta, John-Paul, James, Monica, Lucia, Amanda, Travys, Matthew, Parker, Marion; great-grandchild, Jack; sister, Helen Jepson and her husband, Leonard, of Litchfield; brother, Verne (Chipper) Tame of Illinois; and cousin, June McGinley of Poland.

She was a loved mother, grandmother and friend, whose kindness and smile knew no strangers.
