SACO (AP) – Saco police say they’ve charged an Old Orchard Beach man with attempted murder in the shooting of his live-in girlfriend.
Police Sgt. David Loranger says the victim is in critical condition after being found early Sunday on the Cascade Road with multiple gunshot wounds.
He says the investigation led detectives to her partner, Geoffrey (JOFF’-ree) Reese, who’s being held at the York County Jail in Alfred.
Loranger declined to release details of the investigation, but said detectives believe it’s a case of domestic violence.
