Yes, a snow day, you will say when you see your schools district with a closed sign next to it on television, hear it on the radio or look it up on the Internet. You go back to sleep and sleep a few extra hours in, before you start your day. You may watch television or play video games or do some outdoor activities. But you do know that only five days are included when you have storm cancellations. You have to think would you rather make up days in the summer? I know some people love winter and don’t mind making up days in the summer. But for most people, they want to get as much out of the nice weather in summer as possible. I know that kids want breaks from school, so the school board gives us vacations. But vacations fly by to fast and we want more days off. When we have snow days we are really happy. But think about it, next time you are praying for a snow day after you have exceeded your five day limit you have to make that day up in the summer.
