FREEPORT – The Maine Association of Professional Consultants will offer “Business Evolution 2008,” a one-day conference to help CEOs, presidents, business owners, operational leaders and other managers develop, grow and run their businesses. Keynote speakers at the event include Kevin Hancock, president, chairman and CEO of Hancock Lumber Company Inc. and Hancock Land Company; and Debbie Neuman, director of the Target Technology Center at the University of Maine Orono and a business radio personality.

The conference will be held May 14 at the Hilton Garden Inn, Freeport, with registration at 7:30 a.m. and running from 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

The event includes three business tracks: Growing Your Business, Running Your Business, and Developing Professionally. The event also features 15 presentations for attendees, who can choose to attend a track or mix-and-match sessions. Experienced consultants will offer advice and strategies on marketing, general business management, technology, finances and human resources.
