ELMIRA, N.Y. – The wedding of Ashley Elizabeth Davis Webster and Adam Keith Nau was held Sept. 1 at the First Baptist Church of Elmira in Elmira, N.Y. The Rev. John Gensel of New Vineyard officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Nau is the daughter of Charles Webster of Farmington and Rebecca Webster of Wilton. Mr. Nau is the son of Keith and Jody Nau of Webster, N.Y.
Attending as the maid of honor was the sister of the bride, Alyson Webster. Bridesmaids were friends of the bride, Ashley Edson, Jennifer Berman and Maria Gensel.
Robert Holtby, friend of the bridegroom, attended as best man. Groomsmen were brothers of the bridegroom, Nicholas Nau and Patrick Nau, and friends of the bridegroom, Scott Laraby and Michael Johnston.
A reception followed the ceremony at the Elmira Country Club, where pale blue and sage green were the colors of choice. Dinner was followed by an ice cream dessert bar and dancing. The couple honeymooned in the Dominican Republic. They are residing at their new home in Endwell, N.Y.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Mt. Blue High School and a 2005 graduate of Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y., with a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management. She works as a quality engineer at Lockheed Martin in Owego, N.Y.
The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Webster High School and a 2003 graduate of Clarkson University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He works as a project manager for Southern Tier PermaSide in Binghamton, N.Y.
