Women’s a cappella group has installed new officers
GARDINER – Maine-ly Harmony women’s a cappella chorus installed its 2008-2009 officers on April 9 at Gardiner Regional Middle School.
President is Sue Staples of Bangor; vice president, Jan Flowers of Winterport; secretary, Anne Danforth of Chelsea; and treasurer, Gerry Dostie of Augusta. Members-at-large include Joyce Peters of Waterville and Sheryl Whitmore of Auburn.
The installing officer was Debbie Staples of Waterville and the membership representative was Amanda Hutchings of Gardiner.
Director Kathy Greason of Hallowell led the chorus in the organization’s theme song, “We’re Harmony, We’re Strong.”
The chorus meets each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Gardiner Regional Middle School, Cobbossee Avenue, under the direction of Greason.
