AUBURN – The New Auburn Senior Citizens will host a chinese chop suey dinner with all the fixings at noon Wednesday, May 21, in the St. Louis Church basement hall. The cost is $4 for members only.
A regular meeting was held May 7 with Virginia Levasseur presiding. May birthdays were noted and token gifts given.
Members are asked to bring one of their wedding photos in June and members will try to match up the photos to those who brought them.
Trips planned are Hollywood Slots on July 15 and Lobster Festival on Sept. 7 at Indian Head Resort for $65 a person.
New members welcomed are Conrad Vaillancourt, Lorraine Vaillancourt, Mariette Merserve, Thelma Manson and Ed Langen.
Pot of gold winners were Jeannine Roux, Georgette Morin, Joanne Coston, Tony Arel, Marge Lizotte and Lorraine Lapointe.
The meeting adjoined, a light lunch was served and bingo followed.
Open bingo for seniors age 60 and over will be held Wednesdays, May 14 and 28.
