Sons of Legion presented charter

TURNER – American Legion Post 111 Commander Warren K. Clark has presented the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 111 with their charter. The squadron, formed in April, has more than 30 members and is still recruiting.

Clark also was responsible for organizing the American Legion Riders Chapter 111 of Turner. The Rider program was accepted as a program of the American Legion family last year at the national convention.

American Legion Auxiliary 111 will install officers at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 15, at the Leavitt High School cafeteria, Lower Street. All members are asked to wear their covers for the installation.
