AUGUSTA – Reps. Patsy Crockett, D-Augusta, and Dawn Hill, D-York, presented Louise Dorr, president of Augusta Emblem Club 233, with checks they collected from Democratic women members of the House of Representatives to donate toward the “Avenue of Flags” project.

The Augusta Emblem Club, in conjunction with Augusta Elks Lodge 964, has a community project with a goal of placing an avenue of flag poles at the new Maine Veterans Cemetery.
