Rumford Hospital honored its volunteers at a luncheon at Black Mountain of Maine recently. More than 30 heard an update on the hospital by CEO John Welsh, who talked about the electronic medical record, digital radiology and the building program progress. Honored for more than 100 hours of service were, from Welsh’s left, Pat Hopkins, Trish Rowley, Carolyn Bennett, Gabrielle LeVasseur and Rita Thorne. With more than 100 hours, but absent, were Donna Hansen, Jolene Lovejoy, Carmen Myles, Sonya Robinson, Jane Shuck and Jean Tyler.
