RUMFORD – The Rumford Senior Citizens center will be open new hours – Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will be closed Fridays.

The center will not sign up trips after noon Tuesdays. Cribbage will restart on Thursdays if enough interest is shown. Call 364-4700 or stop in to see Marie at 50 Congress St.

Events scheduled are: June 14, noon until prizes are gone, special bingo, donations for prizes needed; June 22, bus leaves at 8:30 a.m., lobster fest at Indian Head Resort, music provided by Jose Duddy, cost $45 for members and $50 for nonmembers; June 27, TRIAD picnic at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds, bus leaves at 9 a.m.; July 9, Hollywood Slots in Bangor, cost $25, bus leaves at 8 a.m., limited seating available, go in to sign up.

Those interested in dinner and a movie should contact the center. If response is positive it will be scheduled.

Those interested do not have to be a member to participate in joining trips or events. Everyone is welcome.
