Four EL students are going national

AUBURN – The speech and debate team at Edward Little High School has four representatives who will attend national competitions in public speaking.

Emma Roy and Kimberly Clark will go to the National Catholic Forensic Competition in Appleton, Wisc., over the Memorial Day weekend.

Neil Pomerleau and Kimberly Tremblay will attend the National Forensic League competition in Las Vegas during the week of June 13.

Roy, daughter of Philip and Wendy Roy, will compete in the Student Congress. She has scored high in each of her competitions and served several times as the presiding officer.

Clark, daughter of Sam and Carol Clark and Sandi Winters, will compete in the Oral Interpretation of Literature event. She has placed in several competitions to reach this stage.

Pomerleau, son of Dominique and Chona Pomerleau, will compete in duo interpretation with Tremblay, daughter of Robert and Dianna Tremblay. Both have scored consistently high in regional and state competitions.
