A marriage counselor was interviewed on CNN recently. She said when the economy slows down, counseling picks up. Financial problems are the greatest cause of divorce. So I found it ironic Michael Heath says his problem is with “those who would undermine the institution of the family.” (Sun Journal, May 11.)
I “Googled” to see how difficult it would have been for Mr. Heath to learn gay people aren’t a threat to the family. Result after result supported the marriage counselor’s statement.
It’s not gay people who exported our jobs to China; not gay people who tanked the value of the dollar; not gay people who gave away trillions to Iraq; not gay people who turned a surplus into an unbelievable deficit, burdening America for generations to come.
Mr. Heath has a problem with President Bush and Vice President Cheney, not gay people.
Impeach them and you’ll find stress on families as distant as Crawford, Texas.
